Living our Faith and Spreading the Word

1. Promote St John of Jerusalem further, though:

an updated website

better use of the notice boards

2. Try to incorporate further younger people within the Parish

3. Grow further our links with St John of Jerusalem Church School

4. Encourage further involvement in our on-going stewardship campaign, aimed at continuing to meet our financial commitments, including Common Fund requirements and repairs to Church fabric

People Stewardship

1. Encourage lay participation in the wider ministry of the Church

2. Continue to support our links with overseas mission, eg Delhi Brotherhood Society and ALMA

3. Grow our support for Fair Trade

Extending our Links with the Local Community

1. Maintain and strengthen our links with other organisations in the parish:

St Joseph’s Hospice,

The Almshouses,

St John of Jerusalem Festival Chorus,

Leander Court,

St Mary of Eton Night Shelter,

Salvation Army,

etc…

2. Help develop our ideas for further community use of the Church

3. Work towards increasing accessibility to the Church via longer opening hours
