The Parish Room is available to and regularly used by local groups and organisations. For example it is used for weekly meetings of Alcoholics Anonymous.

The bell tower with its ring of eight is often used by visiting bands and many peals (both quarter and full) have been rung.

The church is regularly used for concerts, not only by the St John of Jerusalem Festival Chorus but by Hackney Singers and other groups.

The imposing size and excellent acoustics of the church make it very suitable for music recording.  It has been used for several professional recordings.
